Crazy Loco is written by David Rice, his wrote this short story for young readers. This story is about a famile that gets a dog and tryes to find a name for him the to first weeks the dog had no name, but one day. the famile wanted to go to the mall but the dog jumpped on the front seet and held the steering wheel. The dad tryed to get the dog out but it just jumpped right back, mom called him Loco so after that day his name was Loco. but one day the dog and their car just gone, the famile went every were but they didn't find their dog so they bought a new one.
Right now we are in the month Ramadan, and that means that all muslims are going to fast. when we fast we do noy eat from that point that the sun rises until it is gone, we do not eat or drink anything. I my self fasts just in the weekends, not when i have school, because I can not focus on my work in school if I fast when I am at school. the month Ramadan has 30 days. Old people can chose if they want to fast or not, the same gos for kids under 15 years old. people that are ill can not have fast the same gos for people that travels a long way.
I wake up 6.50 am and get ready to school and walk 2,8km to school. Get ready to first lesson and standing up and waiting for the teacher to sey "you can sitt down now". Doing what i need to the for the lesson and getting ready to the next lesson after a short break. and doing the same thing to the schools end.
Yesterday I woke at 6.50 pm, and got ready for school. Our first lesson was PE, we played fottball the whole lesson. I think I was the "best" player on my team, because I scored on my own goal, and I got a perfect pass right in front of the goal like 1 meter away and I managed to miss that.
The title of this film is The Hurricane. The title comes from Rubin Carter’s nick-name Rubin”Hurricane” Carter.
Rubin”Hurricane” Carter was a famous boxer in USA in the 60’s. He was sent to prison when he was a child because he stabbed a pedophile. Then he fled from the prison after 8 years, but he was captured again. Through that period he decided to become a boxer, because he wanted to be able to protect himself. He was successful and became a very famous boxer. One day he was captured by the police because they found three dead people. There was another person who was there and “saw” that it was two black people that killed them and they had a white car, and so the police arrested Rubin ”Hurricane” Carter. He was convicted and sentenced for 3 whole life times.
Rubin”Hurricane” Carter was played by Denzel Hayes Washington Jr. He got an Oscar for it and I think it tells you if he was realistic or not.
The story took place in New Jersey in USA, in the 60’s. American used the black people as slave some years back, which is why USA wasn’t a great place to be a black person at that time. In Canada they didn’t think of the black people as less worthy people,that is why the canadian helped Rubin”Hurricane” Carter, out of the prison.
When he was in prison, those 4 Canadian persons took up the case of Rubin”Hurricane” Carter. They found out that Rubin”Hurricane” Carter wasn’t the one that killed those 3 persons, but they didn’t have enought evidence. At last they managed to get enough evidence. They went to the ?statsrett? and won the trial. Rubin”Hurricane”Carter was freed the 8.november.1985.
